Your data, handled with care.
The short version: we collect only what we need, we don't sell your data, and non-essential cookies stay off until you say yes.
Who we are
The Creative List is an editorial guide to Copenhagen's creative life. This page is maintained by The Creative List to explain, in plain language, how we handle your personal data and cookies.
For any privacy question or request, contact us via our contact page. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Data we collect
Account details you provide (such as name and email) when you create a profile or contact us.
The events you save and, if you join a circle, the messages you post.
Basic technical data such as your device type and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and improve it.
How we use your data
To provide the service — saving your events, running your profile and enabling circle conversations.
To communicate with you when you contact us or opt into updates.
To understand and improve how the site is used. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time without affecting the service.
To exercise any of these rights, reach out through our contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data.
